Everything is better with music, and yoga is no exception!
Music has an immense effect on improving our mood, performance, and focus. Research has shown to have an immense effect on regulating stress, decreasing pain, and promoting well-being. Music can even make us better athletes! Many studies have shown that with the right tunes we will work harder and longer and experience less discomfort. Songs and sounds and lyrics can also be highly motivational and inspirational, and increase those mental "feel-good" benefits you get post workout or yoga practice. Most of the time you walk away thinking how great you feel afterwards, its because there was a great playlist to compliment your great session!
This is my all time most favorite upbeat yoga playlist. It is about 55 minutes and is for the days I really want to crank the tunes, get in the flow, work hard, and walk away from my practice with a big smile! I hope you enjoy it too!
